Today's Apocalypse Sign: Lincoln - Vampire Hunter

This is a re-post of  one of my favorite video finds. It only got two comments when I originally posted it (3/6/10) so it almost does not qualify as a repost. At the end of the post you will find reference to STM (Sleep Talking Man). If you have never been to the site...check it out. It is R-rated but funny as hell.

--------------------------------------------------------

Watch out all you Twilight groupies...we have now taken a national hero, monument, and former POTUS and transformed him into a Vampire Hunter!

Apparently Abe was doing this without his wife's knowledge. But damnit! when Vampires are attacking the White house ya have to do somethng and Abe was a wood cutter from way back. He could wield an ax.

Funny video! Can't see the second one, though. Any chance of a link for the STM?

Stopping by from Alex's blog, nice to meet you.

Chuck, even though I can't look at violence, I played it through to the end. It must be the 13th. Happy Friday the 13th.

When I first saw this ad, I thought it was so cool. But then I wondered if he was such a super Ninja vampire fighter, how's he let Booth sneak up on him in the theater. Hmmm . . . guess I'll have to watch and see.

This is the first thing I've ever seen that sounds like a dumb book but a good movie. I'll probably rent it.

And I'm following now.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks to Alex, awesome Ninja Capt, I found my way here.

I heard about Lincoln Vampire Hunter for some time. Then I found out that Tim Burton directed and lost interest. Thankfully, you posted the trailer. It looks awesome and so unlike Burton, but he didn't do it alone. The director of Wanted, a great Russian director who I am a fan of, also worked on the project. Looks promising :).

Nice to meet you.

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until I get home to watch the videos. However, the movie looks sweet. If I didn't have such a laundry list of books to read, I would totally pick up the novel too.

Hi, new follower from Alex's blog.

Love the videos cause who doesn't think (maybe just a little) that all our presidents might have been secret vampires ;)

Hi Chuck, I came here from Alex J. Cavanaugh's blog :-)

Tim Burton is one of my favorites and I adore his movies. But I'm not really sure about this story. I've heard of the book but have not read it. Wonder if it's better than it sounds.

That's pretty interesting. Because we live in Virginia, anything related to the Civil War is noteworthy!

Thanks,

I haven't read this book yet, but if it's as good as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, it'll be pretty awesome.

When I saw this trailer twice in the movies, people cracked up laughing at the title. I don't know what to think about it. New follower from Alex's. :)

I've heard some really good things about the book this movie is from. I do enjoy when real things are twisted into new meanings via fiction. Sounds cheesy, but entertaining.

LOL

Have you seen that really old picture that was doing the rounds on the net a while back - it looked like Nicholas Cage, and was being shown as "proof" that he is also a vampire.
