M = MEYTAL COHEN
For those who have read some of my past posts on this young lady, she continues to astound with her malevolent drumming skills. Every week or so she posts a new cover she has done on youtube. All of you may not listen to this kind of music but she is truly talented in her art. I know you are all in a hurry getting through these sites during the A-Z but mark this one for Follow Up. And I'll be putting up a page with my favorites and new releases shortly.
I present some of Meytal Cohen's best videos. At least watch the first one (or Green Day at the end)...Enjoy!
Here's a little ditty of a Iraqi war protest song. I just thought this one in your face FUN!!
My all time favorite from Meytal...I cannot get enough of this!
And if you were kind enough to stick around to down here, an extra bonus that doesn't disappoint.
This one is absolutely awwesome work!!
She makes it all look so effortless...
HAPPY "M" DAY!!!!

She's pretty amazing, that's for sure!
She is truly amazing. She could play for just about any band she wanted.
Hi...I'm hopping over from the A to Z challenge. Lovely post...good luck with the challenge.

Okay, so I'm not the biggest fan of heavy metal. But I've always had a personal affection for guitars and drums. Can't play either instrument to save my life but I adore them. So this was definitely right up my alley. She worked those sticks like they ere extensions of her hands and the beat was little more than blood pumping through her body, so fluidly she kept time, changed tempo, the whole works, all while smiling and enjoying the heck out of herself :-) I can certainly see why you'd highlight this artist. I'll definitely continue following your blog from the A to Z blogging challenge.

Ooh, awesome stuff :) I'm actually thinking of writing a script with a punk-rocker chick in there, and this helps.

so, so cool. I want to be her!

Wow, she is amazing. I've always wanted to learn drums. Great meeting you.
She is really talented!
Cathy: Thanks for stopping by and giving a listen today. She is really good isn't she? I'll stop by and see you shortly.
Alex: I agree. And she picks some difficult stuff too. Her favorite drummer is the guy from Tool.
Donna: Thanks for stopping by, Donna, I will give you a visit shortly.
Angela: Sounds like you are a true appreciator of the musical arts. I agree with all your observations. I'll check you out in a minute.
Sarah: I live to serve...if this helps then my work is done.
Laura: Me too...only male!
M Pax: Well she just posted a drum lesson 101 video. Stopped by your site and enjoyed it...I'll be back!
Clarissa: Well put! And mostly self-taugh
I have never heard of this young lady. But, you can bet that after reading your post I will be paying more attention.
She does rock! I haven't seen your previous posts on her; is she trying to get into a band?

.......AWESOME!
I'll def. bookmark this! :-D
Yeah, she's quite talented. Her drum set looks very intimidating.
Rita: Since drumming is big muscle group coordination I am singularly impressed at how fluidly she plays.
Shannon: I posted about her sometime back when I stumbled on her site and got stuck there for almost two hours on her videos. I am not sure what her goal is but she could handle any of the groups she has covered...easily.
Sue: Glad you enjoyed...I usually watch one of videos every day...kind of gets me energized to write something.
RaShelle: When you need something to get your blood going, watching her play those drums can do that.
I checked out a lot of her videos after you first posted something on her. She is AMAZING! Great one Chuck!
Pat: Yes she is, I'll be proud when she is drumming in a name band.
That's some impressive drumming. And from the overhead shot it looks like she's using Jason Segel's big gigantic drum kit from Freaks & Geeks.
What I'd like to see her take on is Led Zeppelin's "Moby Dick." The drummer in my friend's old band would do it once per show, and I'd just watch in awe (as would his bandmates).
Nate: Moby Dick would be an awesome suggestion...you can make requests on her latest videos. I have made few.
