Today's Apocalypse Sign: Could This Be Any More Irresponsible??

Yesterday the first In-N-Out burger place opened up here in North Texas. Allen, TX and Frisco,TX to be precise. Some people waited in line in their cars for up to 2 1/2 hours to get through the drive through. Gas is almost $4 a gallon. Anybody else see this as STUPID?

Don't bitch about gas prices when you are willing to do this for a hamburger.

There is one planned for Garland (where I live) at the Firewheel shopping mall. It will be a big hit but you can bet I won't be sitting in line for any length of time for a hamburger. Since I don't know what I'm missing (someone is going to tell me that, just watch) I think I'll just wait the first wave of insanity out.

And here is a shot I took today of the firewheel flower...it is where many of the places with that name in Garland got their inspiration.

I'm not going to tell you what you're missing. I'm going to suggest you leave town when they open in Garland.
I like that flower. Never saw one before.

All you're missing is a burger that will sit in your gut for a week. And who goes through a drive-thru like that when gas is so expensive?

Robyn: I am sure I will end up having one of their burgers...it is all one of the morning DJ's talks about (he's from California). I for sure won't be near that part of town when it opens.

There is a whole field of these flowers across from where I live.

Alex: I am guessing even longer than that. The line of idling cars was my point exactly. Some people are proven idiots.

They are good but not "act like an idiot for it" good....

sheesh

LOVE the flower

that is all

PBJ: Update: some people waited in line 5 hours...with their car running. One ran out of gas right at the drive thru window. Many "Morons Of The Year" awards were handed out that day.
