The End Of Green Bay's Season and The Weekend Graphs

Well Green Bay's season came to an insanely stupid end last night at the hands of the 49er's. What I worried most about happening...happened. The Niners quarterback was given free passage to the Packer's secondary and a couple times the endzone...all. friggin. night. It was the most embarrassing defense performance I have ever witnessed in the playoffs. And for all the defensive guruness that Dom Capers possesses, there were virtually no adjustments at half-time to solve the problem. The offense didn't do their selves any favors either. On both sides of the ball it looked like no game plan at all was put together and they just went out and "school-yarded" it.  In all, today I am depressed that MY season is over.

However, let us not lament for long...the weekend graphs can cheer up any sad soul. To that end I give you this weeks entertainment...

Enjoy!

Last one is funny and the Tarantino one is accurate. (And everyone said Django was his most violent, but I still say Kill Bill wins.)
Sorry about the Packers. Couldn't believe Denver lost either.

We're Packers fans, too. My husband said exactly the same things about the game! Why didn't they adjust at half-time?!!!

Sorry!

The beardfly is both cool and kind of creepy! Now I'm going to start worrying every time JP goes a few days without shaving...

Alex: Yeah Denver was a complete shock. I agree on the Kill Bills.

Monti: Thanks. I am writing an open letter to Mike McCarthy with all my thoughts.

Stephanie: Just make sure he doesn't develop a stem on the top of his head.

It was a painful game to watch, wasn't it, Chuck? The 49ers were unstoppable.

That all-red circle is accurate. I read a Tarantino interview, and the guy is a first class jerk.

Excuse my lamenting. Blame it on the 49ers.

I feel your Packer pain. I cried when Seattle blew it over and over and over again. I can barely speak today from screaming at the TV!

Love the Tarantino graph!

Robyn: Yes it was. At least early on I knew it was not going to be the Packers night...my friend who is a Broncos fan had to be sedated after his game!

Nancy: Sorry I can't muster up any sympathy for Seattle but that week 3 victory that Seattle snatched from GB cost us home field. I said at the time that game was going to come back and haunt us. Ironic that Seattle's Hail Mary yesterday was intercepted by the Falcons. Especially after Atlanta's boneheaded botched squib kick. I see the Niners against the Pats in the SB...and tooting for the niners.

I'm safe in the coffee and beard department. And Tarantino definitely doesn't go in much for the peaceful label.

Hi Chuck ... can't get to grips with 49ers et al ... But Tarantino seems a good chap to have on your side .. I missed an interview the other day - that was quite controversial .. must try and find it to watch.

Cheers Hilary

Lee: I have heard broad ranges of opinions on Tarantino's latest film. As usual I will have to see for myself.

Hilary: I know American football loses something in the translation across the pond but it is big sport here! Tarantino interviews are always worth catching as you never know what you'll get.
