Anyway, here is some entertainment to take your mind off the dog-days of summer...
Enjoy!
If you get this you are way better than me...I just thought it looked cool...for a minute.
So apropos...I ran into two or three of these trying to print something just an hour ago!!!
Who doesn't love a way to make a panda from nothing??
I have seen variations of this before and it is always a little sobering to read...
And in case you want to look at the Olympics in yet ANOTHER way...yeah, we still won!!
Have a great weekend everybody!

The art chart was interesting. You certainly make folks look at the world in a different way with the info you provide.
Thanks!

Monti: If these posts inform and or entertain at the end of a long week then I am glad. Thanks!
Who wouldn't want to forget the Carter Presidency?!!! Huh? Tell me that....okay got that off my chest. Ahhhh, feel much better. I liked the YinYang Panda [well, sorta Yin and Yang...almost]
The Street Art? What the heck is that all about? I agree, it does look cool....and a bit sobering. The gold [I quickly fixed my typo...it started off as 'god' instead of gold]...per capita...interesting.
You do do some great research.
Breaking it down further, Scotland did do particularly awesome within the GB team given the number of population that's up here. Including our most successful olympian, Chris Hoy.
I'm sure my printer hates me, just as well I don't often have to use it!
I will never forget those I Love the 80's shows!
Anni: Wish I could claim doing all that research the Olympic graph was researched and created by one Paulo Estriga. I just shared it.
Nick: All nations should be proud of their participation and athletes. I know you are of yours.
Alex: I know...I'll never forget a lot of things of my youth. Everything changes so fast now there is no time or maybe even use for remembering some things. Means we are doomed to repeat them right?
Hi Chuck .. great representations of many subjects I can relate to .. love the Panda. Amazed to find the Falklands War features so high up (well by year) ..
Then the Olympic stats - in general we did rather well .. and all has been happily accomplished .. let's hope the Paralympics goes the same way .. happy and successful for all concerned ..
Cheers and have a fun week - Hilary
I'm already disappointed at the number of things I remember as amazing that my kids don't even know about. Time rolls on.
Hilary: Thanks! And I hope you have a great week too!
Susan: Scary isn't it?
The OJ chase and trial are going to be passed down through my generations so nobody ever forgets. My great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandkids will know.
How true. I have one of those printers that hates me.
Hate to admit it but you "forget" chart brought back a few things I have not thought of in years and a few that I wish I could forget.
PTM: No one will ever forget the trial line, "if it doesn't fit you must acquit". Priceless.
Rita: Yes, my printer actually has malice aforethought when it comes to doing my bidding.
And I must say I remembered a few things I had forgotten about when I found that chart.
I'm way too ADD to look at the first graph for more than few seconds.
My printer does hate me and all that I've ever owned have done the same.
I never thought of looking at the Olympics based on population.
This was a great group!
Pat: That printer one seemed to be relatable by almost everyone!
