The Dallas county aerial spraying for mosquitoes (West Nile Virus issue) wrapped up this past week and of course we are all assured it was safe **cough, cough** as long you weren't a mosquito...or a fish. Yesterday a co-worker showed me where she had been bitten over a dozen times by mosquitoes a few nights ago when she got home. She wasn't concerned about the West Nile virus until I educated her that it took two weeks for symptoms to develop and that 13 people had already died from the virus. And that 12 bites was A LOT of bites!! Kind of dampened her spirits for the weekend as this thought sunk in.
But hey, this post is for raising spirits! So without any further ado...here are this weeks graphs to amuse you...
Enjoy!

Hope you had a great weekend!

Looking for a light switch in the dark - that one got me this morning.
Not too many mosquitoes around here, but we've been invaded by ants with all the humidity lately. "Kept scrolling" made me smile.
Alex: I really found that one funny coz I think we all do that at least once a day...the light switch I mean.
Milo: I haven't seen a mosquito all summer so they are not around where I live in Dallas. Fire ants are always everywhere here. Glad you enjoyed the "hell" qualifier.
I have entered your contest in all possible ways and the post on my site will be up at midnight.
All of us commenters will be burning in hell, while your co-workers are freaking-out about the West Nile Virus. You sure know how to spread cheer, Chuck. Actually, you do. This was another great post. =)
Be well.

That third one is going to be my downfall also.
I hope all the walls appreciate my rub downs.
We had an aerial spraying over my house and I had to sleep with my windows closed when it was 90 degrees out. It was pretty hot.
I'm lucky I don't have any ailments since I was attacked by plenty of mosquitos a few weekends ago. Being drunk outside at night with nothing but a bathing suit on wasn't very smart.
Robyn: To quote Kramer on Seinfeld: "I occasionally like to help the humans."
Rita: It is going to affect people more than they think!
PTM: I had a visual I cannot get out of my head...thanks alot dude!
Chiz: Being outside at night in just a bathing suit is never appropriate...where are your manners!
The wall switch one made me laugh. I like how PC it was: "during relations." From the sound of the comments on here, people's walls are getting a lot of action.
P.S. I'm doing great and our house came through the fire unscathed. Thank you for your concern through it all.
Shannon: Yes the walls appear to be getting most of the action. Glad you came through the fires okay. For those that didn't it had to be such a helpless feeling...and then everything was gone.
I can't believe about how frustrated I get when there is no internet. Even when we're our camping. I want, no I NEED to have a signal!
