Today's Apocalypse Sign: Veteran's Day And The Weekend Graphs

Today is Veteran's Day. My late father was a veteran of WWII and served in the US Navy in the Phillipines. He always made sure I understood this day when I was a kid. Service to our country by my father and many, many others like him to defend and protect our freedoms allows us the ability to create and post whatever we like on the Internet. Here is to his memory and the memory of all those who have fallen in defense of the greatest nation in the world.

Have a good weekend and enjoy your freedom by laughing out loud at the following...

Enjoy!

This reminds me of that Cheech and Chong skit...

Should You Open the Door?

Same thing as asking the divine to actually make the day worse...

It Can Always Get Worse

Later and instantly mean the same thing, right??

Ain't Nobody Got Time For That

And this one for all my cake-addicted friends!

My Daily Struggle

Proving once again the benefit of being a singer in a band....

I Think We Know Who's Got the Better Deal

And for all my UK friends...is this math correct??

Try again later? Heck no - try again immediately!
My father is a Vietnam Vet, and as a military brat, I was raised to respect those who served.

I'm glad your dad fought for this country in order for you to bring us these graphs each week.

Hi Chuck .. it's a good way of explaining the British flag .. and probably is 'right' .... certainly would be good for kids to learn ...

Weekend of Remembrance for all who lost their lives, suffered in Wars to keep us free - we must remember them and all associated peoples ..

cheers Hilary

Very clever! I like that one. How observant you are, Chuck!

A half-second later is still later, stupid graph. What good are you? At least the one below you gave me cake.

Alex: Yep...immediately if not sooner.

Vietnam was such a mixed bag of veterans. I knew a couple right after I got out of high-school that were to say the least "high-strung". I am glad both our dads made it home.

PTM: Don't know if he would be proud or not but knowing I had the right to it would be enough for him.

Hilary: Thanks. I thought of you immediately when I found that graph. All your history lessons you have taught me over the course of our blogging have been enlightening.

Nancy: Even your comment writing is intriguing...I have read it ten times and still not sure what you mean but thanks all the same!!

Nate: AS some one once said, "let them eat cake." The end.

Hi Chuck,

Those WWII vets were so special. They changed the world in many ways.

Try again instantly? Mos def. My dad and both of my grandfathers served in our country's military; only my dad is left now. We owe so much to our veterans.

I laughed out loud at the Jim Morrison graph. My husband is in the military and we live on a base, so November 11th is a pretty big deal over here. And now for the third of 3 completely unrelated sentences: what's going to happen to your blog if the world doesn't end next month?

Today is the I Miss You Blogfest - and just letting you know, I would really miss you, man!

Haha I always try again INSTANTLY. And I never say "Can this day get any worse" for fear that fate will intentionally make things worse JUST because I said it.

Have a nice day!

Those vets are special! We as a community need to show more respect and honor them!
Thank your Dad, for me!

I love your graphs, so funny~
