Today's Apocalypse Sign: Dead Pool 2012 Update

Well it didn't take long and it was one I didn't see coming. Number two is in the books...

Zig Ziglar - died at the age of 86 on November 28th. He passed away in Dallas, Texas.

I always enjoyed listening to Zig. His voice was meant to sooth the soul and his words of wisdom never failed to inspire. I had the privilege of hearing him speak in person one time back in the early 90's...it was very powerful.

He did a lot of good for a lot of people and will be missed.

This makes the second of this 2012 Pool to die on the great state of Texas...and Dallas is very close to home for me. Thankfully I am not a celebrity outside my own head so I am not overly worried.

Here is a short video of one of Zigs greatest topics - negative thinking. Please watch and enjoy. Rest in peace ZZ...

Have you heard Zig before (in person or on tape)?

I've not heard of this man. At first, seeing his photo, I thought it was Biden. Oh come on now, gimme a break. I've been going on high speed for a few days trying to get stuff done around here, I'm not thinking straight...and my vision is blurred. LOL, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I did, however, hear about Larry Hagman. Never cared for him much. Never cared much for Dallas - except for the opening credits with the great ranch house.

Chuck, I hope you're doing well. And you mentioned in your comment that you're going to Ohio? And you want snow when there? Okay then...hope it's a white Christmas for you.
