Today's Apocalypse Sign: The Mark Of The Beast

Today my lovely Mayan Calendar Countdown Device to the left right of this post is reflecting the first stage of the End Of Days...there are 666 days left folks. Seems like a lot right? Until I consider it has been 404 days that this blog has been on the air. (I know, I know, I have yet to post a one year annivesary message.) Time goes so fast. Reflect on what you would do with your last 666 days on earth.

Today being the six hundred and sixty sixth day before the Mayans claim that we end, I thought I would mention that there are many who claim that the number 666 is not in the orignal version of the Bible.

One of the signs of the Apocalypse has long been thought to be the anti-christ stirring up the Middle East. Well freaky deaky...look what is happening in the Middle East today! Egypt's leader was just overthrown...who saw that coming? What I really didn't see coming is the domino effect it has had on the region's people.

***Libya is finally going to get rid of Quaddafi (or however YOU want to spell it) I believe. Really dude you want to plant a giant tent in a park in the US and call it a hotel? Please. Put your camels to bed and ride on.

***Bahrain had 100,000 people march on the capital today in protest. Who knew this tiny island country even had 100,000 people? Pat probably did :)

***Iran, good ole Iran, is feeling the sting of the people. Hundreds of thousands of people march in protest. Who doesn't feel good about this!

There are several other countries in the region experiencing civil unrest. What is to be made of this? Is it a soon to be short lived blip on the map of history? Is it the corner stone of global change? Remember this affects us greatly in terms of oil supply and our economy, not to mention other countries who rely on that region for their oil. Is this the beginning of the prophecy leading up to the end of days?

This subject can be debated ad nauseum, but I leave you with this thought....

If we could have had (or induced) this current-day action 10 years ago, would we even have needed to go to fight in the middle East? Would 911 even have taken place? Would ten years after, people taking back their countries, have made a different world?

Sleep with one eye open, Moammar.

I still remember that Def Leppard Gods of War song. The one that featured Reagan and his war chant. Ahh if they only could see the mess now.

Not happy with the idea of inducing.

(Still don't like seeing a lady in her underwear in your sidebar!)

Copyboy: That is so true.

Lucy: It probably would have been better than the mess we created. When a people take their destiny in their hands (much like the Yanks did with the Brits oh so long ago) it always seems to turn out better. I am sorry you don't like Jennifer Aniston on my side bar...maybe I will take her off or move her lower, soon.

It's an amazing time in the history of these areas. They been there for thousands of years and have seen much turmoil in their times...
It should be very interesting to see what it all looks like in five years...

BTW, I think Bahrain has about 1.3 million people (+/-)......yeeehaaawww!
