The Weekend In Black And White

During my recent trip to Roatan, Honduras. My wife took some amazing underwater photos and I would like to share one with the meme. She too is a fan of B&W photography. I really enjoyed this shot in both color and B&W. Please enlarge.

I love how the patterns on its shell and skin look in black and white. Though I bet it's nothing in comparison to seeing it in color... in person. Excellent shot, wife of Chuck!

Alex: The water is so unbelievably clear in Roatan. That is why is a such a highly rated and often revisited dive site. The visibility is the key to good underwater photography.

Hans: Thank you. It maybe one of the best she has ever taken.

Nate: The pattern is what makes the shot. It looks great in in color (which is mostly green as the turtle and remoray are green).

Monica: Thanks. The detail was really good.

Dragonstar: That means a lot given the great shots you get to view each week.

Nick: As clear as looking through glass. Yes the symbiotic relationship below the surface is amazing.

Monti: I would love to see how this turns out under your hand. Please do.

Vane: Thanks.

Hilary: I am glad you enjoyed it and that you are a fan of the B&W medium.

Milo: Thanks. B&W seems to be the most stunning for shots like this.

Misha: Thanks. I appreciate that.

Leovi: Thank you very much.

Anni: Thanks. Yes I did change my pic...just in time for summer :) Yes it is a great little camera that was easy on the wallet. I love the effects you can do with it. One of my favorite is the color selct.

Robyn: Thanks Robyn...how have you been??

Pat: My wife didn't care for the B&W at first but then she sees everything in color underwater. She came around.

Valerie: YEs this shot turn out so great due to the clear undisturbed water.
