Today's Apocalypse Sign: Monday Is Funday!

I think this just sprang out of my head after a long day at the grist mill (euphanism). I came home to relax for a bit while the dogs fought a caged-match in the middle of the living room. Now that we have rearranged furniture this makes it much easier for them to accomplish. Anyway, since the friggin Dish box died a horrible and quick hard drive death yesteday, I can't watch my new TV again until Wednesday. What the hell is THAT all about!! I had no such karma-type appointment scheduled...

Sooo...I sat down and flipped on the iPod. Here are the five songs I just absorbed...randomly played from God knows how many on this thing:

1. Chicago - Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is (back to my early youth)

2. Led Zeppelin - No Quarter (one of the grestest songs EVER)

3. Volbeat - Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood (one of my favorite Volbeat songs)

4. The Who - 5:15 (could be my favorite song from Quadrophenia)

5. Lady Gaga - Poker Face (I have no explaination)

I say, I was ready for the evening after all my brain cells were opened at once! There is still no denying the greatness of Page and Townsend.

I may try this more often after work!

How was your Monday?

I temporarily have a second dog and they have caged matches too. I guess it's a dog thing...

Ooh, great songs! Not a huge Gaga fan, but loved the rest :)

Alex: Yeah it was a random mix of a hugely wide variety of music.

Whip: Two Bostons cannot help themselves when it comes to wrestling...I firmly believe this.

Sarah: Yeah, Gaga is kind of a palate cleanser between my normal listening taste.

Oh, I think Led Zep just reactivated my LSD trip. Also, I used to love that Chicago song when I was younger. My step-father would always listen to the oldies station and that song came up constantly.

Loved the songs on your Ipod. I have four of the five on mine as well!

That sucks about your dish! Bad bad timing...

Chiz: Sorry to hear that...and you'll be sorry to start hearing those voices again! That song was always on the radio when I was growing up. And no on the oldies station either, thank you very much!

Pat: I am guessing you don't have Gaga!

The only good thing about the timing was all the shows I watch and usually record, were done for the season the week before. Bitter and sweet.

As odd as it may seem, I do have some Lady GaGa on there...

Pat: Okay then, I'll go with Volbeat.
