Since Pat was curious about the warped picture on the right side of the Dumbass Header (it now has a name!) I decided to post all 3 pictures that made up that little jewel. Here they are with captions. If you are interested click and enlarge, if not just sit there and look at small pictures!
This is from my "One small step for man" collection
Ironically the Vermilion beach looks better frozen! The ice floes in the distance look like frozen waves.
This is a macro B&W shot of a thistle standing in a snowy field. I thought it looked cool so I shot it! There ya go Pat.
Now for the pop quiz:
On the side bar of this blog is a code we used back in the 70's for a tasty little party favor sure to make the evening alright. After today it will be gone as time counts down. One little hint...the band The Tubes is associated with this item in some way. If you figure it out...bonus points for knowing the literal name. Good luck!
Now I'll work on a new header until dinner is ready. Can you believe 6 days of 2011 are already gone??

I don't know - the more I look at it, the more I like your new header. Just needs to look scarier.
the picture of the thistle is really intresting
Alex: I'm not sure how this comment got on this post. I was still working on it at the time it says. I thought this header did look a little scarier...no?
BayGirl: I thought the thistle looked very stubborn against the snow and the cold wind.
THIS HEADER IS FRIGGING AWESOME! It looks like a zombie standing on the other side of my bathroom window (diffused glass).
Okay, what code on the sidebar? It has something to do with the Tubes? I don't think a "baby's arm holding an apple" is a party favor. or "White punks on dope" maybe?
Seriously though, that is one spooky photo in your header!
It's amazing how it looks like a sea urchin.
I agree with Alex except I think it is scary. Can you see the guy behind the silver wrap? Sort of futuristic Picasso :)

Pat: I am going to post the photo I altered to make that header. Paint.net is an awesome free product! Anyway, 2 days ago the Mayan calendar read 714...which was always used as some way to inquire about 'ludes as in quaaludes as in Fee Waybill's alter-ego on stage (Quaylude). Rorer 714 was THE party favor!

Copyboy: Yes it does ands it was still very sharp!
Jules: I still think Alex's comment belonged on the post right before this one. Oh yeah, I saw it immediately. That's why I used it.
The header is cool.
