I don't know if this has ever been done before but frankly I don't care. I was certain I should have gone back and unpublished my last post after I slept on it, convinced it was too whiny and pitiful. But in true procrastination form, I let it stand. Then I waited until today to respond to comments, amazed that the number grew from 6 then 9 then 12 then 16. When I started reading through them I was intrigued to find a few who have not commented in a while, one who commented twice (she might need therapy), one insane blogger (not news to anyone), and a new reader/follower. I found supportive thoughts and well wishes for my pup. It felt like meeting friends at the coffee shop for a quick chat.
I opened Notepad and began responding to each comment. Sometimes laughing out loud and sometimes feeling the sincere thoughts that were there. Something I never know is whether or not anyone ever comes back and reads comment comments. To that end I decided to post my replies not only in the post itself but actually create a post of all my responses. If you commented then you will get your response (if not go back and read what you wrote). If you are reading this and did not comment on last weeks post then none of this will make much sense and you may want to read the Friday post first. At least everyone will get something. Or not.
Here are my replies to your comments from WTF.
Robyn: I am sure I'm not tapped out and that thought keeps me going. The following and commenting are not really big ego things for me but they are kind of nice. That picture cracked me up again as I opened the page tonight. Thanks Robyn.
Alex: I have no plans to give up. Making 320 posts convinces me daily I can continue. Plus I have a seen several bloggers I have followed bow out for different reasons or take long breaks and I truly miss reading their posts. Thanks for your support.
TS: It counts for a lot really. Your's is one site I read daily even if I don't always comment, because I enjoy it. Thanks for the comment.
Manzanita: Just picturing kids running around with duct taped coats makes me laugh. You are so right about time...it moves so fast now. Thanks for stopping by.
RaShelle: I know people who might actually do that to a baby! I am working on de-funking daily. Thanks for the kind words.
Cowgirl: It was good news about the tumor on his lip and he is doing sportingly (that's an English term right?). I'll stop and check out the challenge but I hope I don't get eaten by your blob! I know you meant blog but I found it funny nevertheless. Thanks.
Geek: At least now you know one way to keep Baby Badass out of harms way! Just kidding...duct tape can't hold the BB. Caesar is doing great, thanks.
Esther: Consider me cheered up up...but what exactly were my "wonderful and thoughtful essays"? I didn't know I had ever done both in one sitting! Thanks for the encouragement!
Lee: Now THAT made me laugh! The trip to Fiji is sadly becoming a distant memory. Just three short months later. Trips like that shouldn't do that. You should be able to record a vacation and then re-experience it in a virtual way...sights and sounds. You know, like that Schwartzenegger movie I can't remember. Now there is an invention I could buy into! Taking the weekend off...maybe I'll work on that. Thanks Lee.
Candida: The kind of parents that have duct tape and a plan...and few scruples. Thanks for stopping by and come back whenever you like. I promise I will actually be posting stuff soon. Caesar is well and fighting with his younger sister constantly now. Stitches come out Monday.
Manzanita (2): I had a serious vacation back in June which if you missed the adventure you can catch the page at the top of the blog entitled Fiji Diary. Now I need a less serious vacation...or just a couple days off! I will stop by your blog as I LOVE surprises! Thanks for TWO COMMENTS on this post!! You the Duck!!
Pat: Buddy, I was so surprised to see that dedicated photo...I showed my wife and she just thought it was so funny. Bostons are soooo entertaining! Glad you liked WallBoy! Thanks for all the support you've been over the last couple years. It is appreciated every day.
Copyboy: Truth be told I suspect there are 20 or 30 that haven't read in a while. I have no proof but the serious contrast between me and them (sites that is) suggests this. I am cool with it. The ones that matter most is this group in this post. BTW I heard that it is actually 5 posts before they jump off the bridge. Just so you know.
Misha: I like that...Blogger error. I am feeling better already, since it could actually be true! Bastards! Caesar is back in true lunatic form. He gets all his toys back on Monday after the stitches come out so he and Cornelia will be seriously back at it then. Thanks, Misha.
D22 Zone: Well looky here...a sparkling new reader. Who says karma isn't real. Welcome. Not sure where you popped in from but I am glad you're here. Feel free to browse.
Thank you my friends you are all appreciated!
BTW...I am a little pissed at the FDA right now so be prepared for a rant very soon...stay tuned!

No, I meant to say blob. It's a habit I picked up from Violet (she of the gratuitous blob - if you don't follow her find her in my comments, shes around and I'm pretty sure you'll like her).
Glad the dogs ok :)
I feel left out now. I didn't comment on your last post but it looks like I am the first commenter on this post so that has to mean something.
No one expects you to be superblogger. And we all get in a creative funk every now and then. It is hard to put so much effort into something you don't get monetary compensation from. I like that you replied to the comments in a post. I never go back to see if I got a reply. I like to respond to comments by email.
IT'S NOT A TUMOR!!
Right back at ya my friend! I also appreciate the support you've given me over the years. You are one of the folks I've met blogging that I'm sure would be a personal friend if we lived closer to each other.
Glad so many came by to cheer you up! And if you were to quit, we'd hunt you down and duct tape you to a wall.
I don't know if anyone has done a post to respond to the comments from another post. You might be trailblazer here. I'm always up for a rant about the FDA. I have about a thousand bones with them and one more might make the collection.
Cowgirl: I will have to stop by Violet's blob then...never seen on up close. Dog is fine now and ready to play!
PTM: Awww, you're never left out...just late to the party. I figured the best way to know I had taken time with their comments was to make sure everybody could easily read my responses. And yes...IT'S NOT A TUMOR!!!
Pat: You know I really thought about that distance thing when I was at LAX before the Fiji flight. We'd have a good time over a beer or three. Thanks, Pat.
Alex: Now THAT would be some serious duct taping. There'd be some physics involved in getting that done.
TS: Could be a first at that! I should have it the FDA post out this week. Hopefully
