Whisk: Thanks for stopping by...I know you've been busy lately with all you've got going on. Love all your dog stuff!
Alex: Could be The Event...just saying.
Nat: Thanks. I never know what will show up in my Big D sunsets. Most nights recently have been cloudless when the sun is going down but every once in a while it give me some great shots. It's my favorite subject now.
TS: My wife watches that show, V, she is for sure it is a sign they are coming.
Robyn: Nope, the cut in the sky was very pronounced and well-defined as the sun got lower. I shot about 20 frames, each on different settings, just to see what would come of it.
What a cool picture (and phenomenon)! I've never seen anything like that.

Shannon: Thanks, it was wicked to see in person. I am intrigued by the idea of visiting all those blogs. I don't know if I have the complete list of blogs or if the link to them still works. I promise I will try my best to get to all of them. Thanks for the reminder.

Curious picture. Thanks for posting it.
Aliens. No other explanation!
That is amazing - great capture!
That is a weird and very awesome picture.
That's amazing. It really looks like you tampered with the photo (but I know you didn't). What a gorgeous "sign".

Looks like falling skies. haha
Is that where the mother ship came down?
I've not seen V yet.
It definitely wasn't a butter knife.
I don't know what the hell that is, but it's amazing and beautiful!
Copyboy: A sky divided against itself cannot stand...or was that a house??
CD: My wife said it looked alike a sky-blue tornado.
Whisk: I am not sure what channel its on but she said the original show V was back in the 80's. Never watched it myself.
PTM: I truly have never seen a sky that looked remotely like that. Honestly, I wish I could have gotten a really good picture of it.
Pat: Kind of a heavenly Rorschach test. It started straight overhead and narrowed as it went east. I really did want a better picture.
